Brief Profile of Mr Vineet Agarwal:

Vineet Agarwal is the Managing Director of Transport Corporation of India Ltd. (www.tcil.com).  He is a
graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, USA and completed the Owner President Management
program from Harvard Business School.
 
At TCI, Vineet has been instrumental at transforming the company from a trucking business to an
integrated multimodal logistics solutions provider and conceptualizing several joint ventures in the
space of automobile logistics, rail logistics and cold chain.
 
Vineet is the immediate Past President of Assocham, one of India’s leading chambers of commerce.   He
is currently on the Board of National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC),  National Start-up Advisory
council, Governing Council of the Logistics Skills council amongst others. 
 
He served as the founding National President of the Young Leaders Council (ylc.aima.in) at the All India
Management Association and has been a Council member for several years as well as a director on
Young President Organization’s (YPO) international board.
 
Vineet has been involved in various non-government organizations in the areas of safety and AIDS
awareness programs for truckers as well as running skill development centers.
 
In 2014, Vineet was awarded the Young CEO of the year by the CEO magazine and in 2017 he was among
the 200 young entrepreneurs nominated by Government of India under the ‘Champions of Change’
initiative.  He was also awarded CEO of the Year 2018 by the Indian Institute of Material Management.
