Objectives
a) Understand the impact of societal culture on building careers in organizations and current changing trends in managing one’s own career.
b) Understand and become aware of driver (s) for career orientation and its impact on career progression and career satisfaction and test the same for self.
c) Understand and become aware the significance of dominant values in self that will impact significantly in building one’s own organizational career.

Pedagogy of Workshop
The pedagogy would involve deep exploration and examination of one’s own strengths and weaknesses through use of psychometric instruments, coupled with individual and team based work supported by appropriate career coaching. The primary emphasis would be on interactive methods of learning.

Distinguished Faculty
Dr Pallab Bandyopadhyay
Dr Pallab Bandyopadhyay is a Leadership Architect, Career Coach, Change and Transition Specialist. A doctoral fellow in HRD from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and trained at various human process and organization development interventions at NTL, USA, he is also certified in Hogan and Thomas personality profile assessments. He is a visiting faculty at XLRI, Jamshedpur, IIM Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode in the area of HRM/OB. Dr Pallab is a research guide for PhD students under the Faculty of Management Symbiosis University

What’s in it?
Career pathing plays an integral role in supporting the Talent Management Cycle. This one day workshop will help an individual develop a sense of career-success by helping the individual align his/ her growth and development path with his/ her own perception of organisational and occupational context.
