1. Power Query Fundamentals:

Learn the Power Query / Query Editor interface, including the ribbon, queries pane, formula bar and data view. Covers data cleaning and preparation tasks such as changing data types, filtering (text, number and date), removing/renaming/reordering columns, and creating new columns (custom, split, merge). 

2. Data Preparation Skills:

Focuses on shaping raw data for analysis—filtering multiple columns, sorting and transforming columns to ensure structured, ready-to-use datasets. 

3. Data Visualization Techniques:

Introduction to visualization concepts and chart types in Power BI—bar/column (stacked, clustered, 100%), pie/donut, scatter, line, area and matrix/table visuals. Emphasis on creating and formatting visuals for effective data storytelling. 

4. Dashboard Design and Usage:

Learn to build and manage dashboards by pinning visuals and live reports, formatting dashboards, interacting with them and sharing with others. 

5. Advanced Data Analysis Concepts:

Covers data transformation with Power Query at a deeper level and introduces DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculations and advanced analytics.
